Kentucky Space Movie Project
Join the growing number of students, businesses and universities that are leading the new Space Race. There is an explosion in small satellite development and space exploration taking place across the world.
Kentucky students are manning tracking antennas, developing space craft, building advanced electronics, launching balloons to the edge of space, working with NASA, managing flight operations and learning what the next wave of space explorers will need to know to survive long flights to distant stars. It is a new day and we need a “Bunch of Rebels” to create America’s future in space.
As part of the fourth annual Kentucky Space Movie Project, teams of Kentucky students are invited to produce a short documentary film on a selected space topic. It is a student's chance to get out of the classroom and transcend the bounds of traditional textbooks, lectures and study. It is time to work hard having fun with your friends to research, plan, create and show what you can do.
